A Note From the Gallery Owner. . .
Art has always moved and inspired me. As a former journalist and speechwriter, I'm equally interested in the stories that surround a work of art--revelations about the artist who created it, their experiences and perceptions of life.
When I opened my gallery in Kensington, Md. in November 1996, I first turned to the artists whose work I had purchased for my own home. Some of these artists I had known for nearly 15 years, purchasing their paintings and other artwork from local galleries. Over the years, I've established close relationships with these, and other artists I've come to know and represent. I've seen their reputations grow and their art undergo many changes as they've explored their world and talents.
I'm primarily involved in the art business because of my great excitement for the artists I represent, and for the pleasure I derive from acquainting others with their work. I was fortunate to purchase the early additions to my art collection from gallery owners and others who helped guide me with their expertise and bolstered my confidence in my selections. I am always mindful of the reasons I enjoyed giving them my business, and offer my customers the same thoughtful and personal service I received.
The gallery currently represents the following fine artists:
